Alexander Boldyreff (42) has been appointed Chief Sales Officer of comdirect bank with effect from 1 July 2009. In this newly created position, he heads up Marketing & Sales, Product Management and Treasury. Furthermore, he is responsible for expanding the advisory offering as well as for subsidiary comdirect private finance. "Alexander Boldyreff is an experienced sales expert. After training as a bank clerk, Alexander Boldyreff was responsible for strategic sales projects at Bayerische Hypotheken- und Wechsel-Bank. In 1998, he oversaw the bank's branch integration into Vereins- und Westbank, where he became General Bank Manager in 2003. From 2005, Boldyreff was Head of Sales for two regions at HypoVereinsbank. Most recently he was a Divisional Manager at HypoVereinsbank and a member of the European Retail Banking Steering Committee of UniCredit Group with responsibility for sales to private and business customers in Germany. As a result of the expansion of the Board of Managing Directors at comdirect bank, further changes are being made to the allocation of duties: the remit of CFO Christian Diekmann (43) will also include the business to business activities of comdirect bank subsidiary ebase.
